The procedure of car rental by a customer is significantly simpler now. After primary registration and contract sign, the customer will take the car from the parking lot by himself and return it the same way.
Look through the information about your vehicles both registered in the system and the new ones, which just established the contact. Detect problem cars from the first site: cars beyond the limits of areas defined for usage, left cars, cars with no fuel or unlocked etc. There is a possibility of quick switch between vehicle cards, reservations and customers.
Observe remotely in the real-time mode many important car parameters: fuel level in the tank, location, speed, engine rpm, odometer indications etc. Look through the GPS-tracking for vehicles and information from the orders; all tracking points contain full telemetering information. Control the central lock and reservation status of the car.
All vehicles from our car fleet are shown on the map. By the color code it’s easy to understand the status of the car: not registered, connection loss, on-line, rented, booked etc. All data on the map are updated in the real-time mode. One mouse click will give you telemetric data on any car.
Customers can register by themselves but if they want to get access to your cars, they have to get approval from your security department. Operators can look through scans of passports and driving licenses of customers, history of their payments, reservations, fines, bonuses and current balance. At any moment the customer can be blocked or unblocked.
The information about reservations made by customers is updated in the real-time mode and stored in the database. Data on the order include information about the car, the customer, GPS route data, order milestones (reservation commencement, switch to parking rates or to the usage mode etc.). At any moment the operator can terminate the rent.
You can develop the detailed table of rates with references to hours and days of the week. Also you can draw on the map unlimited number of car usage areas and reserved drop-off areas. Both rates and areas can be assigned for groups (companies) used in B2B scenarios.
Billing for orders and writing off of amounts from customer's bank cards is performed automatically. The system implies direct debit: after registration the primary payment will be written off from the customer’s bank card. After that, the customer’s card becomes “connected” to the account. All further withdrawals are performed without obvious confirmation of the customer.
For certain groups of cars and customers you can set personal drop-off areas and rates. Customers from different companies will have access only to their cars.
Users can get access to the management interface after they enter the username and the password.
System administrator can adjust user rights in details. In total there are about 60 different rights available for adjustment.
Servers of any info system have to be rebooted sooner or later, in case of the software update, in emergency situations, during equipment maintenance etc.
